Nomination statement

The World AI Governance Foundation (WAIG Foundation) invites nominations for the positions of Chairman and President. The appointments are intended to strengthen WAIG Foundation's leadership, governance, strategic direction, and national and international engagement in the areas of Artificial Intelligence Governance, Responsible AI, AI Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Digital Trust, and Sovereign AI. We seek distinguished professionals, researchers, academicians, industry leaders, policymakers, and practitioners who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, professional integrity, and meaningful contributions to the technology and governance ecosystem. Selected leaders will be expected to contribute to the advancement of WAIG Foundation's vision, strengthen strategic partnerships, promote responsible and trustworthy AI, and represent the Foundation at national and international forums. All nominations will be subject to eligibility assessment and the Foundation's prescribed governance and approval process.

Nomination process

  2. 2.Self-nomination or nomination by an existing WAIG Foundation member / authorized committee
  3. 3.Submission of LinkedIn profile, photo, CV, statement of intent, leadership vision, key initiatives, and conflict declaration
  4. 4.Eligibility and background review
  5. 5.Nomination Committee evaluation
  6. 6.Interaction / interview, where required
  7. 7.Final recommendation
  8. 8.Formal approval / appointment by the competent authority of WAIG Foundation
